All appeared to go fine until the actual command of installing the driver and recieved an error message saying ndiswrapper not found. First tried to install driver through Applications>Administration>Windows wireless Driver, ended up with error message that said ndiswrapper not installed so I followed the link to the site in your last post and went through the procedure of installing ndiswrapper and then finally the driver itself. I hope you are not getting too sick of me. Screenshots are in backward order top last, bottom first. I do not know if I am doing something wrong, Archive manager is not working properly, something else that I cannot figure out.
I can uninstall and reinstall without a problem and the wireless work fine with XP. I have to believe the driver itself is OK as I have XP loaded on a separate hard drive on this machine.
I have attatched screenshots to show what I am seeing. inf file to choose because for some reason I cannot extract the file from the driver.

I can get to the place to install the driver by going to Applications>Administration>Windows Wireless Drivers but there is no. inf file from the Netgear download using Archive Manager.
